Work pressures make it difficult for busy project managers to get away for a few consecutive days of traditional face-to-face training. Travelling is time-consuming and accommodation is expensive. The answer? Study at your own pace, place and times through eLearning.
eLearning sacrifices nothing compared to traditional classroom courses - you still
get opportunities to interact with knowledgeable course facilitators and other students in real time via blogs, study groups, webinars or face-to-face during
Skype sessions. Research has shown that, on average, study material must be reviewed three times before it becomes embedded. With eLearning you can review the material as many times as you need to.

Imagine a technique that’s like switching on the floodlights to illuminate your entire project. If you spot any warning signs, this technique allows you to focus a spotlight on the problem area. If that isn’t enough, turn on the Cost Performance Index which is like a crystal ball to predict what your final project cost is likely to be. This enlightening performance measurement technique is called “Managing with the lights on” or Earned Value Management (EVM).
ProjectPro offers a one-day in-depth EVM technique workshop for the practitioner, in addition to the half-day
executive overview. They are available on an in-house basis. The course content is based on the Project Management Institute’s Practice Standard for EVM and will earn delegates seven Professional Development Units (PDU) for PMP® recertification.

projects on accelerated schedules are some of the reasons why qualified risk management professionals are needed on project management teams.
As projects become more complex, global and virtual, the project management profession continues to grow and diversify. This growth is the driving force behind the need for a specialized role in project scheduling. The Project Management Institute (PMI)® offers their Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)SM credential which acknowledges an individual’s role to provide unique expertise on the project team, while recognizing the value this role provides to the field of project management.
ProjectPro® offers 2-day preparation workshops for doing the PMI-SP exam which may be taken at Prometric
Testing Centers in South Africa. For those not intending to sit the exam, the workshops will be an invaluable source of scheduling best practices. [more info]
