Overview

The Project Co-ordinator performs a project management administration support role and reports to the Head of the Enterprise Project Office (EPO).

 

  • Matric;
  • Accredited project management PMI (APRIL 2015)
  • Computer literate (MS Office suite)
  • Basic MS Project skills
  • Administration skills
  • Document management skills
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals

Competences:

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise own work and meet deadlines
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail while maintaining an overall perspective
  • Emotional resilience and high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Ability to work with limited guidance

Experience

 Minimum of 2 years administration experience;

 Proven track record in similar position

 

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project management templates.
  • Support project team members.
  • Assist the other project managers with the compilation of documentation required for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist with meeting preparation; capturing and disseminating of meeting minutes; distribution and storage of meeting documentation; and following up on actions arising from meetings.
  • Assist project managers with collating information required to construct work breakdown structures; setting up project schedules in MS Project; managing timesheets and invoicing; obtaining and updating task progress; compiling progress reports; and escalating progress issues.
